ABOUT ME

MAYA LIANNA SANTIAGO  is a born and bred New Yorker and is so happy to be back in their hometown since graduating from Point Park University.

From a young age, Maya knew they wanted to try it all. She was introduced to the arts at a young age. Maya found comfort in dance, music and playing pretend. Maya explored more of this passion by auditioning and attending a performing arts high-school in Manhattan, where their hard work was widely acknowledged. In her high-school years, Maya performed at many cabarets and learned from very reputable performers. 

Since then, Maya has graduated from Point Park University with a Bachelors of Fine Arts Degree (B.F.A) in Musical Theatre with a Dance Minor. Their university credits include SPRING AWAKENING, Little Children Dream of God, It's a Wonderful Life and many more. They have made their regional debut in Jesus Christ Superstar at Pittsburgh Musical Theatre and recently made their Off-Broadway debut in SHOOTING STAR the Musical. Maya is very outgoing, adventurous, and loves to have fun! In their free time, you can catch them modeling with their dog (Twinkie!), thrift-shopping, dancing in their bedroom or kicking butt in a spin class.

Maya is uplifting, carefree, and free-spirited. She is also a diligent worker, an effective collaborator, and a creative mind. They pride themselves on time-management, communication, leadership skills... and overall, being a good ass time!

Maya is proud to have recently made her NATIONAL TOUR debut in the Tony Award nominated musical On  Your Feet!
